As the New Year Approaches

Sophie and I can’t believe how fast this year has gone! It seems like yesterday when I was toasting to 2021 in the safety of my home while Sophie played with whatever toy had her interest. When 2021 hit, I already had plans to launch Sophie Belles Place. I had a vision in my head of all the things I wanted to do what I wanted the website to look like, and what types of products I wanted to showcase. It took a lot of planning, and a lot of miscellaneous notes left everywhere!

I’ll be the first to admit, I’m not much for organizing or writing down plans or ideas. I like to think of myself as organized chaos. However, I found that purchasing an undated journal helped me keep things on track. Mainly because I went through a period where I had so much on my mind I became a scatterbrain, and nothing was getting done on my mental to-do list.

As we now head into 2022, I learn that pen and paper is still an effective way to organize your thoughts, feelings, plans, or just write yourself a note to say “yea, I did it”.
